My Thoughts:
I was so surprised by this book, I mean it sounded amazing and I really wanted to read it and I was not let down one bit by it! Anna Carey sure has a gift with words and I absolutely loved this book!
Again this was another novel that has made me fall even more in love with the dystopian genre and I cannot wait to read more from Anna Carey. I really liked the concept of this book, but yet there was a tiny thing that annoyed me; when Eve sees men/boys for the first time I wanted to see more feeling perhaps a bit of shock after all it was the first time she had ever gotten to see a male in real life.
With that being said I did absolutely love how intriguing and interesting this world was and how the main character; Eve looks at it from what she knows and using her brain to empower her in a way of sorts.
Within the first 2 pages of this book I instantly loved Eve’s character and appreciated that she was smart and intellectual, I understand you get characters like this in many books but I loved how she was almost at the top of her game, she seemed to be perfect and she was book smart and well when she got to the real world book smartness could only help in certain aspects of life.
I would say you definitely need to read this book, it is a simply stunning novel!
This is one trilogy I wish I found out about after Anna Carey had written all three books so I could a just read all at one time. That's how much I didn't want this book to end. The cliffhanger with Eve and Caleb had me in tears. I so love, love, love The Eve Trilogy, and I highly recommend it as a must read!
