3. Leigh Fallon, although I have not read the Carrier of The Mark yet, she is very sweet and I would just die to meet and hang out with because she was once and Inkie like I am on Inkpop and she is living proof that anything is possible if you set your mind to it!

4. Leah Clifford is absolutely and utterly cool and I would actually like to see her in person and maybe hear about some of the actual house conversations she has had as they always seem hilarious when she tweets about them.

5. Cat Clarke is just plain brilliant and extremely awesome and on the plus side I would love to meet Cat because her dog; Griffin is so adorable and I would just love to play with him...she has Cats though and I am allergic to them...FAIL!

6. Amy from Lady Reader's Bookstuff, well Amy has sort of been my mentor throughout my whole blogging experience and I am really grateful for her and her helping hand. She is really nice and sweet and deserves lots and lots of hugs!

7. Amber from Me My Shelf and I because she is awesome and ha also helped me a lot and I know I annoy her sometimes with my endless questions but I am so proud of her and what she has accomplished with her beautiful and astounding blog which I fall more and more in love with each and every day.

8. Kristi from The Story Siren I mean come on who wouldn't want to meet her, she is like the queen of YA book blogging and she could give very useful tips, it would also be great to meet her due to the fact that she would be able to hold endless conversations about books, which in my mind would be great!

9. Stephenie Meyer because I am in love with her work and I would love to take a peak inside her brain and see what other story ideas are floating around in there and then I would want to kidnap her and force her to write more books...uhh forget I said that...

10. You. Yes that's right you! I would love to meet more bloggers and befriend them as I love meeting new people and how great would it be to have friends who do just what you do for their passion and love for literature as well as spreading the word and enjoying books just as I do!

{On My Wishlist} 1

On My Wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City and runs every Saturday. It's where I list all the books I desperately want but haven't actually bought yet. They can be old, new or forthcoming.
A Touch Mortal by Leah Clifford
Release Date: 22 February 2011
Eden didn't expect Az.
Not his saunter down the beach toward her. Not his unbelievable pick-up line. Not the instant, undeniable connection. And not his wings.
Yeah.
So long, happily-ever-after.
Now trapped between life and death, cursed to spread chaos with her every touch, Eden could be the key in the eternal struggle between heaven and hell. All because she gave her heart to one of the Fallen, an angel cast out of heaven.
She may lose everything she ever had. She may be betrayed by those she loves most. But Eden will not be a pawn in anyone else's game. Her heart is her own.
And that's only the beginning of the end.
 Blood Magic by Tessa Gratton
Release Date: 24 May 2011
It starts off simply.

Draw a circle ... place a dead leaf in the center ... sprinkle some salt ... recite a little Latin ... add a drop of blood ...

Maybe that last part isn't exactly simple. Yet somehow it feels right to Silla Kennicott. And nothing in her life has felt remotely right since her parents' horrific deaths. She's willing to do anything to uncover the truth about her family—even try a few spells from the mysterious book that arrived on her doorstep ... and spill some blood.

The book isn't the only recent arrival in Silla's life. There's Nick Pardee, the new guy next door who may have seen Silla casting a spell. She's not sure what he saw and is afraid to find out. But as they spend more time together, Silla realizes this may not be Nick's first encounter with Blood Magic. Brought together by a combination of fate and chemistry, Silla and Nick can't deny their attraction. And they can't ignore the dark presence lurking nearby—waiting to reclaim the book and all its power.

Tessa Gratton's intoxicating first novel will keep pulses racing, minds reeling, and pages turning right up to the very last drop of blood.

My Thoughts:
Well firstly I would like to say that this book was absolutely stunningly wonderful beyond measure! It had me hooked right from the beginning and Cat Clarke sure knows how to write a gripping book.

I love the main character Grace; I found little pieces of myself in her and could easily relate to her.

This book was extremely well written and it had me so addicted that I read it within two hours! The title is very thought provoking and really adds to the whole concept of the story in my opinion. It helps to create a mood that certainly fits the book. Another thing that really suites the book is the cover: the cover is absolutely wonderful and I could stare at it for hours on end but what captured my attention was that it was a really beautiful cover that was the perfect shell for such a beautifully dreadful story that is really well written.

I really like the fact that this book was hauntingly beautiful and very thought provoking with such interesting concepts that were well thought out and applied. One thing I really did love and sort of hate about this book was its ending, it was sad for me to watch the story end and find out that it was a stand alone book, but I also loved it because you could interpret it however you wanted and it really does leave you thinking about those last words once you finish the book!

I would like to say thank you to Cat Clarke for creating such a wonderfully heart touching story that is haunting yet beautiful and had me on the edge of my seat.

{Review} Paranormalcy by Kiersten White

Release Date: 31 August 2010
Publisher: HaperTeen
Age Group: Young Adult
Format: Soft Cover
Pages:352
Author: Kiersten White
Buy the Book: Amazon

Evie’s always thought of herself as a normal teenager, even though she works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she’s falling for a shape-shifter, and she’s the only person who can see through paranormals’ glamours.
But Evie’s about to realize that she may very well be at the center of a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures.
So much for normal.
 My Thoughts:
Well I loved this book to bits! It was so refreshing and different in a way that I had not thought possible. I loved this BLEEPING book, it was BLEEPING amazing!

Well Kiersten White has a very playful way of writing that sort of adds a twist of fun to a serious book. The playfulness of the world of characters and words totally astounded me with its awesomeness!

Paranormalcy was a fantastic book that I just struggled to put down. This book has the perfect amount of romance, fun, action and humor. It was brilliantly written, very clever and witty. The characters were extremely intriguing and I am sure fans of Carrie Jones' Need series as well as Melissa Marr's Wicked Lovely series would definitely love this book.

This book has it all, vampires, faeries and pink tasers that have names and holy BLEEP! Just read the BLEEPING book to see what all the BLEEPING is for! This book is far from normal, it is extremely awesome!
